Tykes, Trikes and Training Wheels

The Tykes, Trikes and Training Wheels race takes place on the Saturday each Bribie race weekend.

It is is a mini duathlon for children aged 4-8 years, where everyone is a winner! The first event for the 2022-2023 Season is on 15th October (Race 1). Approximate distances are 200m run, 800m bike ride, 200m run.

All children will be given a medal.

Race Schedule

  • Registration opens at noon, closes at 3.45pm.
  • Transition opens at 3.45pm.
  • Events start at 4.00pm.
  • Events are in each age group. (8 years down to 4 years)
  • One adult with each child.
  • Each Child must have a bike, helmet, close in foot wear.
  • Each event starts and finish at Finish Line.
  • No bike out until all age groups are finished.
